Church Programs at Bement:
Get out of the pews and into the woods!
All-Inclusive Parish Retreats
The church is one of the last institutions that remains intergenerational — where children can play with the elderly and young parents hang with teenagers. At a Bement Parish Retreat, parishoners of all ages can interact in a fun, safe and natural environment. Your congregation will have access to meeting rooms, hiking trails, sports fields and — for the more adventurous — the challenge course. Plus don't miss all of the opportunities for amazing worship services at the chapel or even an outdoor sunrise or sunset service at the shore of Jones Pond.
Includes:
- Overnight accommodations in yurts or cabins
- Excursions to the challenge course
- Campfire reflection time each evening*
- Access to the lake for fishing, canoeing and rowing (seasonal)
- Unlimited access to hiking trails, volleyball court and sports fields
- Continental breakfast and buffet lunch and dinner at the dining hall
Cost: $80 per person per night (up to $240 per family)

Rustic Parish Retreats
This option includes everything above, but presents an opportunity for parishoners to showcase their talents in the kitchen (or the fire pit!) by making your own food. A perfect option for parishioners who want to rough-it and who are looking to save cost.
Includes:
- Overnight accommodations in yurts or cabins
- Daily excursions to the challenge course
- Campfire reflection time each evening*
- Access to the lake for fishing, canoeing and rowing (seasonal)
- Unlimited access to hiking trails, volleyball court and sports fields
- Access to the dining hall kitchen facilities for meal preparation
Cost: $50 per person per night (up to $150 per family)

Women's/Men's Retreats
Small groups are great opportunities to get to know each other, and Bement provides an intimate and beautiful setting to do just that. Women's and men's groups can find renewal during a weekend in the woods. Plan small worship services in the chapel, take time for silent prayer and meditation beside the lake or hold Bible study around a camp fire. Whatever activities you choose, it will be a weekend to remember.
Maximum group size of 25.

- Evening campfire*
- Access to the lake for fishing, canoeing and rowing (seasonal)
- Unlimited access to hiking trails, volleyball court and sports fields

Youth Outdoor Adventure and Winter Adventure
What better place to let your youth group get to know Christ, each other and themselves than at Bement? Since Bement is both a camp and conference center, we know kids, and can help you plan a great youth retreat. We offer both a winter and spring/fall experience for youth groups and can accommodate your program or help you create one. For each adventure, youth will need to draw upon each other's skills to prepare meals and worship services, allowing them to express themselves through creative gifts. Outdoor Adventure includes three hours each day on the challenge course with a trained Bement facilitator.
Winter Adventure includes:
- Overnight accommodations in St. Luke's
- Evening campfire*
- Access to trails for winter hiking
- Unlimited hot chocolate
- Access to St. Luke's kitchen for meal preparation
