Camp Schedule 2008 JUNIOR PROGRAMS NEW! Junior Day Camp (Ages 6-11) allows campers to enjoy the beauty and activities of Bement Camp without staying overnight. Swimming, canoeing, field sports, archery and more are all part of the Bement experience. Make new friends and enjoy finding Christ in nature and in one another. Welcome to Camp (Ages 7-11) introduces our youngest campers to the experience of living at camp. Daily activities - hiking, swimming, climbing and more - are well supervised and tailored to encourage young campers to explore the outdoors and recognize Christ in all aspects of their lives. As in all camp programs, fun is a big priority.
Junior Camp (Ages 7-11) gives campers the freedom to explore the many activities available to them at Bement Camp. Whether swimming, sailing, hiking, canoeing or enjoying field sports and archery, campers find and develop their own unique gifts. Cabin and large group activities build a strong community and friendships that will last a lifetime. Daily worship opportunities allow the natural discovery of Christ at work in our lives. $795/2 weeks connect the 3rd and 4th sessions with an optional weekend stay!
MIDDLE SCHOOL PROGRAMS Amazing Journey (Ages 12-14) provides a Bement experience specifically for young adults in middle school. Traditional camp activities are combined with more demanding activities and discussions that help build leadership and discuss how faith works in the "real world." Ropes course challenges, hiking, evening camp fires around Jones Pond and more form strong bonds between campers, reminding them that they will never walk alone on this Amazing Journey! $795/2 weeks connect the 3rd and 4th sessions with an optional weekend stay! ADVENTURE PROGRAMS Adventure Base (Ages 15-18) Challenges teens to look within themselves and their friends for skills they may not even know they have. Teens will stay at the adventure base in yurts, cook their own food, solve group and individual challenges on the ropes course, all while enjoying traditional camp activities. The result is a community and an experience like no other. Advanced Adventure Base (Ages 15-18) allows teens to take their skills on the road! Having mastered the communication, safety, and ropes skills required for the Bement challenge course, campers will go on a new offsite trip each day. Whether it's kayaking, rock climbing, biking or the overnight Cape Cod adventure, campers will experience another level of exciting challenges. LEADERSHIP PROGRAMS Leadership Challenge (Ages 15-18) forms skills, faith and a sense of mission. Onsite and offsite adventures, community service projects and time to just hang with friends all contribute to developing natural leadership abilities. Teens will see how their leadership style can serve them in school, at church and in their community. Prepare to have fun leaving your comfort zone behind! NEW! Advanced Leadership Challenge (Ages 15-18) focuses on becoming a Servant Leader.
